One of the official residences of the Queen, the castle of Windsor is just at 40min from the London Paddington station… Why don’t go there and take a look around? So we did, me, Sara and Mel set in our way.
The city itself is pretty small, a couple of big roads, and the castle overlooking on the city.
This is the inner garden, and in these rooms facing on the garden there are the state apartments and the Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House. The last one particularly is a miniature of an house, it was a present to the queen and, what’s more, it is fully functional, light switches, automated lifts, books that you can take from the library, wardrobe that you can open, even toilets that you can flush… unbelievable!
Another thing to remember is the tragic disappearance of my Tuborg hooded sweatshirt, after many years of service, it’s simply gone…
As i said, this town is quite small, this is a shot of the main road.
